Abstract
Background: Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor that affects the lining of the cervix due to the multiplication of cells due to abnormal cell changes. Cervical cancer patients who experience chronic pain require nursing intervention to reduce pain levels. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) is a method that can be used to reduce the level of pain. Objective: Analyze nursing care for cervical cancer patients with pain problems. Method: This scientific work uses a case study method in 3 patients. The instruments used were the format of nursing care, pain assessment, physical examination equipment, Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy. Nursing Care Results: The main nursing problems that arise in all three patients are chronic pain, as for other nursing diagnoses that are taken, namely disturbances in sleep patterns associated with process of disease, anxiety associated with cancer cervix, impaired tissue perfusion associated with suplly O2, and constipation associated with disease poses. Based on the implementation carried out on the three patients, namely controlling the environment that can cause pain, allowing distraction of deep breathing relaxation, supporting adequate rest / sleep, monitoring vital signs, teaching Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy, the authors found that the level of pain reduced. Recommendation: From the results of Nursing Care, it is expected that the next researcher in doing therapy can be longer, the frequency is more optimal.
