Abstract
Background: Pre-school child families are families that have children aged of 3-6 years, language development is very important in the maximal development process, the authors are interested in providing therapy to play ladders snakes for children who have language delays. While language development disorders that occur in pre-school children amount to 1% to 32% in the normal population. Objective: Provide an overview of nursing care with the application of therapy to play ladders snakes to improve language development at the stage of family development with pre-school age children. Method: The method of this paper uses descriptive analysis with a case study approach. Data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation processes. The subjects of the case study were two pre-school age children who had delays in language development. Results: Interventions and implementations that have been carried out, namely the application of ladder snakes play therapy, has been found to increase language development. The evaluation was carried out, namely An. D untestable category to normal with a language delay score of 0%. Whereas An. A suspect category leads to normal with a language delay score of 0%. Recommendation:The application of ladder snake therapy is an effective way to improve the language development in pre-school age children.
