Abstract
Background: LBW is a newborn with a weight of <2500gram which can be caused by a disruption in the growth of the baby while in the womb due to maternal and fetal factors which causes a reduced food supply to the baby. To overcome this problem in addition to adequate nutrition, to increase the baby's weight, one of them is carried out massage therapy to the baby which is useful for increasing appetite in infants. Objective: To explain nursing care about providing massage therapy to LBW infants with nursing problems ineffectiveness of infant feeding patterns. Method: Provide infant massage innovations to infants with LBW Results of Nursing Care: The evaluation results showed that after a baby massage for 10 days the weight and reflux of the baby suction had increased Recommendation: Future researchers are expected to be able to examine in more detail the benefits of other baby massage
