Abstract
Background: The aging process in the elderly creates various physical and non-physical disorders. Physical disorders include interruption of joint pain due to a decrease in bodily functions. Through rheumatic exercise, it is expected to reduce joint pain disorders experienced by the elderly. Many physical activities have been carried out to deal with joint pain experienced by the elderly, but these activities have not been structured. Objective: Explain nursing care by providing rheumatic gymnastics in the elderly with acute pain nursing problems. Method: This scientific paper uses descriptive sace study design. The case study subjects were 3 elderly people who had acute pain problems. Data colection using observation, interview and documentation study techniques. Results: Of the three clients, the main nursing problem, anxiety, was associated with a lack of knowledge about labor. Conclusion: After doing rheumatism exercise from the three respondents, the moderate scale of pain decreased to a moderate scale and even disappeared.
