Abstract
Background: Typoid fever is one of the infections that occur in the small intestine and many occur in countries with tropical climates. The reduction in nonpharmacological body temperature in typoid fever patients uses the teppid water sponge method Objective: To carry out nursing care for typhoid patients with hyperthermia in the Husna room of the PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Results: Nursing diagnoses that appear on the client, namely hypertemia associated with the disease process. Recommendatio: Warm tepid water sponge compresses can be beneficial in reducing fever or hyperthermia in children. Although the results obtained from the authors in this study did not significantly decrease patient's body temperature. However, tepid Water Sponge is very useful for lowering the body temperature of patients suffering from hyperthermia/fever in children.
