Abstract
Background: Asthma is a disorder in the form of chronic airway inflammation that causes hyperactivity to various stimuli that can cause symptomps of wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath, which are generally reversible both with or without treatment. Objective: Describe the results of the analysis of nursing care in patients with the problem of ineffectiveness of airway clearance in the Khatijah room PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Wonosobo Methods: Actions taken in handling the ineffectiveness of airway clearance in patients with bronchial asthma, the authors performed a technique of chest and book massage with eucalyptus oil, combined with pharmacotherapy (nebulizaer, oral and injection drugs) and effective cough. Results: The main diagnosis that arises in bronchial asthma patients is the ineffectiveness of airway clearance. Conclusion: administration of chest and back massage with eucalyptus oil combined with other effective measures to overcome the problem of ineffective airway cleansing.
