Abstract
Background: Case height of Benigna Prostat Hiperplasi (BPH) in Indonesia placing BPH as the number two cause of morbidity after urinary tract disease. BPH patients in the treatment requires surgery. Preoperative actions cause patients to face various stressors that cause anxiety. Objective: Describe the therapy of deep breaths and murotal in anxiety of BPH preoperative patients at Wonosobo Hospital. Method: This scientific paper uses a descriptive case study analysis design. The case study subjects were three patients who experienced BPH preoperative anxiety problems. Data collection by observation, interview and questionnaire techniques. Results: The level of anxiety of the three patients pre BPH surgery before given deep breath therapy and murotal therapy, the average level of anxiety of the three patients dropped to the no anxiety category. The average ability of the three patients to perform deep breathing techniques and murotal therapy before being taught was 63% including the medium category. After being taught deep breathing techniques and murotal therapy, the average ability of the three patients to be 96% including both categories. deep breathing relaxation and murotal therapy can reduce anxiety levels in patients pre BPH surgery. Recommendation: The autor can then apply deep breath therapy and murotal in other preoperative cases as additional references in the health field.
