Abstract
Background: The number of people experiencing mental disorders always increases from year to year. Hearing hallucinations are the hallucinations most suffered by schizophrenic patients. Dhikr therapy is one therapy that can help nurses to reduce hearing signs and symptoms of hallucinations. Objective: Describing of nursing care by providing dzikir therapy to reduce the signs and symptoms of auditory hallucinations and improve the ability of clients to perform dzikir therapy in auditory hallucinations clients in the Klirong District. Method: Using descriptive method with literature study approach. Data obtained through interviews, assessment of signs and symptoms of hallucinations and the ability of dzikir. The instruments used were remembrance therapy SOP, observation sheet of hallucinatory signs and symptoms and observation of the ability of dzikir therapy which was carried out for five meetings. Results: After dhikr therapy, client 2 experienced a decrease in signs and symptoms greater than client 1 by 3 scores from a score of 4 (medium) to 1 (small). Client 1 has decreased by 1 score from 5 (medium) to 4 (medium). Client's ability to do dzikir more than client 1 for 8 scores from 1 (less) to 9 (good) clients 1 for 6 scores from 3 (less) to 9 (good). Recommendation: Nurses are recommended to apply dzikir therapy techniques in providing nursing care to clients with auditory hallucinations
