Abstract
Background: Diarrhea by deprivation the volumes of liquids and cause dehydration excessive when not health with quickly would have resulting death. Diarrhea caused as transportation water and electrolyte which are abnormal in the intestines. Around the world child that is suffering diarrhea because there are 500 million children annually, and 20% of all the deaths in children who life in the developing countries relating to diarrhea and dehydration (Wong, 2008). Objective: Describing the care nursing patients diarrhea in meeting the needs of a fluid. Method: Using a technique descriptive data collection with the approach a case study. the data obtained from the assessment, physical examination, data available from analysis, intervening, implementation, until evaluation nursing. Result: After on the assessment obtained the data in the patient experienced an increase in thirst, looked weak, limp, pale, fretful, not eating, chapter liquid. Writer getting into trouble nursing shortage of the volumes of liquids and deficit knowledge. nursing plan to address the problem of deficiency among the volumes of liquids: counting balance of liquid, give drug therapy. knowledge deficit among do health education about diarrhea. the implementation of that is carried out during 3/24 hours and the evaluation results problems nursing shortage of the volumes of liquids. Client 1 balance liquids -152cc/24 hours and a clients 2 balance a liquids-220cc/24 hours. And result of the evaluation problems nursing knowledge deficit family clients understand and can do what already described. Recommendation: computing balance fluids can be aware of the needs a liquid of the patients and health education about diarrhea in the family clients knowledge as he family.
