Abstract
Background: Tuberculosis or pulmonary tuberculosis is a disease caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis, which is an aerobic germ that can life in the lungs with nursing problems that often appear in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis is the ineffectiveness of the airway cleaning, which is obstructions of the respiratory tract. The method of effective emergency handling is by implementing a semi fowler action because is can normalize lung consuming which aims at reduce the risk of pulmonary secretion stasis. . Objective: Scientific writing aims describe nursing care the application of semi fowler action to the clearance of the airways in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis Method: In preparing this scientific writing the author uses a type of case study writing method, which is an approach to learn from the obtained document from interviews, observations, physical examination with the subject of 2 patient with pulmonary tuberculosis Result: The result of this study before given the semi fowler action of both patients showed difficulty breathing with indicators of respiration rate and oxygen saturation. Conclusion: Semi fowler action can be used to reduce respiration rate and increase the oxygen saturation in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.
