Abstract
Background: Little milk production in the first days after childbirth is an obstacle in giving ASI early. Oxytocin is massage on the entire spine until the 5th and 6th ribs are an attempt to stimulate the hormone prolactin and oxytocin. General Purpose: To apply nursing care by applying oxytocin massage to increase breast milk production in post partum mothers. The results of nursing care: nursing problems in patients, namely the ineffectiveness of breastfeeding. The plan of action to be taken is by massage oxytocin. Massage oxytocin is done for three day 2x for 2-3 minutes using baby oil. Evaluation after oxytocin massage the problem of ineffectiveness of ASI is overcome. Recommendation: Massage oxytocin done to the three patients provides effective and good results, which is to expedite the release of breast milk which initially has not come out or come out slightly to be smooth.
