Abstract
Background: Hemorrhagic stroke is a medical condition characterized by the rupture of one or more blood vessels in the brain. The majority of people with stroke experience decreased consciousness generally experience airway disorders and circulatory disorders. The condition of the fertilized airway problem will appear in nursing diagnoses, namely the ineffectiveness of the airway cleaning. Handling for the ineffectiveness of airway clearance due to accumulation of secretions is by taking suction by inserting a nose / mouth suction catheter tube (Endotrakheal Tube (ET) which aims to free the airway, reduce sputum retention and prevent lung infection. Objective: to describe the results of the analysis of nursing care given suction action in hemorrhagic stroke patients with nursing diagnoses of ineffective airway clearance in the Emergency Room Installation of RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Method: This scientific work uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. Case study instruments use SOP suction and suction devices. Data obtained from the results of observation of interviews, physical examinations, and study documentation. The subjects consisted of 3 hemorrhagic stroke patients. . Results of nursing care: The results of the study conducted on hemorrhagic stroke patients obtained the main complaint data that was felt was the ineffectiveness of the airway clearance as evidenced by the results of the study in patients who showed RR 28-38 x / minute, and SPO2 90- 94% Nursing intervention was done namely Respiratory management with suction innovations. The implementation of nursing is Respiratory management. The results of nursing evaluations in hemorrhagic stroke patients show partial ineffectiveness of the airway. The action of suction effectively decreases signs of the ineffectiveness of the airway cleaning. The results of the study showed an increase in GCS and SPO2 and a decrease in RR before and after suction action. Recommendation: Given the slime sucking action is carried out in hemorrhagic stroke patients, the hospital must provide special skills to nurses at the hospital so that hospital services are good and in accordance with health standards.
