Abstract

Background: Stroke is a symptom of sudden brain damage, and is caused by ischemic or hemorrhagic. Barriers to physical mobility are a limitation on the physical movement of the body either one or more of the extremities independently and directed, such as muscle weakness and damage to limb function caused by an illness, and factors associated with mobility barriers, namely neuromuscular disorders. The benefits of ROM training are to determine the ability of the joints, prevent joint stiffness, facilities blood circulation by doing ROM exercises in patients. Objective: To provide an overview of nursing care for non-hemorrhagic stroke patients with physical mobility constraints. Method: This study was conducted using descriptive analytical methods through a case study approach. Data was obtained through interviews, observation, physical examination and documentation. Subjects 3 non-hemorrhagic stroke patients with physical mobility constraints. Results: After giving ROM to non-hemorrhagic stroke patients, the resistance to physical mobility in patients is reduced. Conclusion: Nursing care by performing ROM in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients has been shown to reduce the barriers to physical mobility of non-hemorrhagic strokes.
