Abstract
Background: Reflexology massage is a complementary therapy that is often used as research in the application of pain reduction, usually namely foot massage reflexology. Objective: Describing the results of nursing care for patients with ACS NSTEMI with acute chest pain using the Foot Reflexology Massage Innovation in the ICCU Room of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital Purwokerto. Methods: The study used interviews, observation and application methods directly to patients. The research subjects were NSTEMI patients in the ICCU Room of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital Purwokerto. The research sample was 3 patients. Sampling was in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The results of the study showed that 3 patients who complained of their respective pain before the foot reflexology pain score was 3 and after foot reflexology, the pain score was 0. Conclusion: The results of the application of non-pharmacological foot reflexology therapy in patients with SKA NSTEMI with acute chest pain has a significant change which was shown by ab decrease in pain scores in patients from mild pain scale (3) to be painless (0). Recommendation: It is expecting that the next researcher can examine the effect of foot reflexology in SKA NSTEMI patients with moderate-scale acute chest pain (4-6).
