Abstract
Background: Disease Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) become a big problem in the world because it is difficult to cure. Patients are said to have decreased CRF if Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR), The number of CRF patients with hemodialysis in Indonesia has increased, Patients when they are sick or experiencing major life changes in every individual must be reduced in terms of spiritual and quality of life. Efforts in non-pharmacological treatment of one of them is with meditation, yoga, music therapy, prayer / Islamic studies that can improve the psychological condition of the patient. Research purposesTo determine the influence of Islamic studies toward spiritual improvement and quality of life in hemodialysis patients in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Deal. Method: quasy experiment(Provide treatment of respondents) with one group pretest and posttest. Total sample of 123 respondents in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital hemodialysis room Gombong and use accidental sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet Spiritual Well Being and the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire sheet treatment given twice. Data were analyzed using t-test. resultCharacteristics of the majority of respondents by age 41-60 years were 63 respondents (51.2%), the sex of the majority of men as much as 78 respondents (63.4%), the majority of junior high education levels were 63 respondents (51.2%), HD mayoritasn2-4 years old as many as 57 respondents (46.3%), marital status, the majority married as many as 74 respondents (60.2%), the majority of workers work as many as 65 respondents (52.8%). Spiritual needs results were as many as 54 respondents (43.9%) for pre, post the results of both categories were 83 respondents (67.5%). Besarkategori hidup.sebagian quality quite as much as 68 respondents (55.3%) for pre and post in either category of 100 respondents (81%). Spiritual growth in hemodialysis patients, namely with the calculated t-test showed results of 0.000 <0.005, with a .609 correlation value, ConclusionInfluence of Islamic studies can improve the spiritual and the quality of life in hemodialysis patients in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Deal. Recommendation: For further research are expected to examine the influences that may affect the spiritual and the quality of life in hemodialysis patients
