Abstract

Background: Diabetic ulcer is a group of diseases caused by metabolic disorders that will facilitate the occurrence of diabetic injuries. to prevent diabetic wound complications that last a long time and prevent a worse direction, wound care is neede in diabetics. The latest wound treatment technique is the method of moist wound healing using gel. The principle of modern wound care is maintaining and keeping the wound environment soft and moist to facilitate wound healing, maintaining tissue fluid loss and cell death. General Purpose: The final scientific paper aims to find out how the analysis of the implementation or application of wound care to patients with grade II diabetic ulcers nursing diagnoses damage to tissue integrity using the moist wound healing method using gel and knowing how it affects the wound healing phase. Nursing Care Outcomes: The Final Scientists' Work results focus on wound asssessment, how to treat wounds, and the effect of successful wound repair. Assessment of wounds using DESIGN-R, the treatment method used is the method of moist wound healing using gel, and wound care affects the reduction in wound size, epithelialization and wound granulation. Recommendation: The method of moist wound healing using gel can be another alternative in carrying out nursing care damage to tissue integrity in patients with Daibetic Ulcers so as to improve the quality of services in the health sector and provide input to health workers.
