Abstract
Background: Stroke is a disease of the brain in the form of local and/or global nerve function disorders, the emrgence of sudden, progressive, and rapid. Disorders of nerve function in stroke are caused by non-traumatic cerebral circulatory disorders. Stroke patients generally experience limb disorders so that they are limited in carrying out activities called barriers to physical mobility. ROM, both active and passive, can have mor effects on the motor function of limb members in stroke patients. Ball grasping exercise is a modality of sensory stimulation that gently touches and pressures on encapsulated organ end receptors in the upper extremity. Objective: Analyzing nursing care barriers to physical mobilization in stroke patients with range of motion (ROM) and ball grasping at Aghisna Medika Kroya Hospital Method: This type of research is descriptive in the form of a case study. The subjects in this study consisted of 3 patients with stroke. Results: The results of the observation showed that the patients experienced a decrease in muscle strengt before and after the intervention, even though the overall problem of resistance in the mobilization of patients was not yet complete. Recommendation: Regular training is needed in carrying out ROM and ball handling therapy
