Abstract
Background: The problem of pain in patients Laparatomy post becomes urgent beacuse if pain is not treated immediately it can be s stressor that causes tension. An approach that can be used in pain managemen, namely by treating Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique(SEFT). SEFT is a wy to reduce pain intensity that is safer, easier, faster and simpler. Objective: Explaining nursing care by giving SEFT to pain reduction in post-laparatomy patients at the ICU Dr. Soedirman Kebumen Hospital. Method: This scientific paper used a descriptive case study design. The subject of the case study was three patients post laparatomy surgery, who experienced acute pain problems. The collection data by observation, interview, and documentation study. Results: Based on three postoperative laparatomy patients showed a decrease pain from the severe pain levelto moderate pain. Conclusion: SEFT is effective in reducing the pain level of patients after laparatomy
