Abstract
Background: According to the Indonesian Health Demographic Survey (SDKI) in 2007 maternal and infant mortality rates were still high, where the Maternal Mortality Rate was 228 per 100,000 live births and the Infant Mortality Rate was 34 per 1000 live births. Therefore, the Sectio Saecarea (SC) is one of the solutions to prevent maternal and infant deaths. The medical record data of PKU Muhammadiyah Sruweng Hospital revealed that the sectio caesarea in August 2018 was 32 patients out of 143 deliveries (22.37%). The high number requires mothers to be able to carry out early post-Sectio Saecarea mobilization to accelerate post-operative recovery. Objective: to describe early mobilization in post sectio caesarean patients at PKU Muhammadiyah Sruweng Hospital in 2018. Research method: this study is a descriptive study with a survey approach. A sample of 30 respondents. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. Analyze data using univariate analysis. Results: Characteristics of respondents at most aged between 20-35 years, high school education, not working (Housewife), did not have a previous operation history of SC, and 1 time parity. Early mobilization of postpartum mothers is categorized as good (65.4%) Conclusion: The stages of early mobilization in post Sectio Saecarea (SC) postpartum mothers are good Recommendation: motivation for all family members to increase family support for post Sectio Saecarea postpartum mothers to carry out early mobilization according to the procedure
