Abstract
Background:Advanced age is sameone who reaches the age of 60 years and over. In Indonesia in 2017 the number of elderly recorded at9.03% continus to incerause. The increating age of elderly health decreanes. Health problem experienced by the elderly include hypertenxion, diabetes mellitus grout, COPD and dental problems. Purpose: Knowing the health status of the elderly in Semanding Village, Gombong District, Kebumen Regency. Method: The method used is descriptive a sample of the elderly group recorded at the Semanding Village Elderly Posyandu. The sampleuser accidental sampling techque, where the eldery who come to the posyandu are 44 elderly. Result: The result of the study are based on the characteistics of the respondents. It is known that 16 elderly (36.4%) 60 years, sex 34 elderly (77.3%) women. The survey results of health problems soffered by the elderly included 11 elderly (25%) pre-hypertensive symptoms, 11 elderly (25%) diabetes and gout symptoms from 44 elderly (100%) normal uric acid levels. The activity of elderly villts, mothly 29 elderly (65.9%) Conclusion: The result of the study 65.9% conducted health checks at the elderly posyandu. The results of the examination, aminority experiented health problems 25% pre-hypertention and 25% of diabetes mellitus. Recommedation: it is expected to increase motivation for the eldrely to conduct health checks to improve the health status of the elderly.
