Abstract
Background: Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the world and in Indonesia. One treatment that is performed on breast cancer patients is kemotrapi. A person suffering from breast cancer can experience a decrease in self-esteem which can be described as a negative feeling towards himself, Objective: to describe the results of the analysis of nursing care in patients with mammary with low situational self-esteem in the Bougenvile Room of the Hospital Prof. dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Method: This scientific work uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. Instrument in the form of implementation strategy on low situational self-esteem carried out for 30 minutes and symptom obsession observation sheet and patient ability situational low self esteem. Data obtained from the results of observation of interviews, physical examinations, and study documentation. The subjects consisted of 3 patients with Mammae Ca patients with the main problem being situational low self-esteem. Results of nursing care: The results of the assessment conducted on patients obtained data from most patients aged <40 years, and married. The priority of nursing diagnoses in all three patients is situational low self-esteem. Only patient II was able to do deep breathing and Istigfar on the first day while patients I and III were able to do deep breathing and Istigfar on the second day. The results of a situational low self-esteem assessment before and after the treatment of deep breathing and Istigfar showed a decrease in the highest signs of HDR symptoms in patient I namely physiological aspects, patient II is cognitive aspects, patient III is cognitive aspects. Recommendation: Mental nursing specialists are expected to make preventive efforts of various age ranges in early prevention of psychosocial problems, especially low selfesteem in Ca Mammae patients
