Abstract
Background: Joint pain is a disease that often occurs in the elderly and most abundant cause of disability. Rate occurrence joint pains in the world at the age of 45-64 be issued this year by 30,3% and at the age of ≥65 years it has been reported as many as 49,7%. To handle pain can be done by nonfarmakologi therapy. Compress with ginger is effective to reduce pain. Compress with ginger is one of the combination of warm therapy and therapeutic relaxation that are useful in people with joint pain. Common Purpose: A common purpose of writing a piece of writing this scientific, to decipher results of nursing gerontik care with nursing main problem acute pain in the village Kejiwan subdistrict Wonosobo.
