Abstract
Background: Anemia in pregnant women is one of the health problems that has a fairly high incidence in the world with prevalence rates reaching 40-88%. Efforts to overcome anemia in pregnant women nationwide are carried out through increasing the intake of iron tablet supplementation. Increased Hemoglobin levels in pregnant women can also use non-pharmacology, namely with green bean juice and guava. The content of green beans and guava as a source of iron and a source of vitamin c help increase iron and iron absorption. Objective: To implement the application of green bean juice and guava in pregnant women with anemia TM III at Umi Muntamah Sruweng PMB, Research Methods: This study is descriptive analytic, with a case study approach. Data is obtained through direct observation. Results: After being given participants' green bean juice and red guava juice for 14 days, there was an increase in Hb, ie 10.7g/dL to13g/dL(participant 1), 8.5 g/dL to12.2g/dL(participant2), 9.6g/dL to12.1g/dL(participant3), 8.6g/dL to11.7, and 9.7g/dL to12.2g/dL. Results: Giving green bean juice and guava juice has been applied by the five participants given in the afternoon and evening as a companion fe tablet in 14 days. The five participants experienced an increase in Hemoglobin levels from anemia to not be anemic. Conclusion: There was a change in Hemoglobin levels after consuming green bean and red guava juice so that pregnant women with anemia did not become anemic
