Abstract
Background: HIV is still a health as problem with a global. Dirjen PP &PL Ministry of Helath RI (2017) figures showed 10,376 cases of HIV infection and 673 cases of AIDS in Indonesia. Persentase AIDS aged 15-19 years old is 2.7% and the highest 31.4% in the aged 20-19 years old (UNAIDS,2016). Almost all the regions in Central Java, there are cases of HIV/AIDS including Kebumen, with the number of patients by aged 15-24 years old has reached 151 people (KPA Kebumen, 2018). The data of the Ministry of Health RI (2107) showed 62.7% of teens admitted to having sexual intercourse. Religiosity acts as guide os a controller in attitude and behaviour, in order to minimize of negative behaviour. Objective: Finding out relationship of religiosity and atittude on prevention of contagion HIV/AIDS instudents at Muhammadiyah senior High School of Gombong. Methods: This study used a quantitative method design with a cross-sectional approach .The samples were taken by the creteria for inclusion are 115 respondents with a population of students of class X and XI. Data analysis included univariate and bivariate analysis using Kendalls Tau test. Results: The bivariate analysis using Kendalls Tau showed the p-value=0.000(p<0.05) means that there is a significant relationship between religiosity and atittude on prevention of contagion HIV/AIDS in students at Muhammadiyah Senior High Shcool of Gombong. Conclusion: There is a relationship between religiosity and atittude on prevention of contagion HIV/AIDS in students at Muhammadiyah Senior High Shcool of Gombong. Recommendation: For futher researcher is expected to conducting similar research on other factors that may affect attitude on prevention of contagion HIV/AIDS, or conducting similar research in general do not have a high school division of the subjects of islammic education as much as in Muhammadiyah Senior high School of Gombong.
