Abstract
Background: Heart failure is one of the cardiovascular disease rank highest of the cause of death. Heart failure can cause load preload and afterload increase. Which then result in increased cardiac performance burden, this will give rise to adverse circumstances such as pulmonary congestion and impaired gas exchange problematic. General Objective: describe the result of the analysis of nursing care in patients with impaired gas exchange problematic in the Assalwa room of Islamic Hospital Wonosobo. Result: The result of the study, based on assessment known that of all three patient complained dyspnea. The nursing diagnosis impaired gas exchange is established. Nursing intervention done on impaired gas exchange with deep breathing exercise conducted 5 minutes 3 times a day for 3 days. Implementation in all patient was developed from the result developed from the result of the study intervention made during 3 days again on patient. After done implememtation for 3 days then the final evaluation result in three patient is clear. Recommendation: This studi recommends the application of deep breathing exercise as a method to reduce dyspnea in patient with CHF.
