Abstract
Background: The risk of loneliness is a problem that often arises in the elderly. One factor in the occurrence of loneliness is the lack of attention from the family, lack of ability to socialize with the environment, and lack of activity and lack of activity. One effort that can be used to reduce the risk of loneliness experienced by the elderly is to use Occupational Therapy making banana chips. Objective: Analyzing of Nursing Care for the Elderly at the Risk of Loneliness with Occupational Therapy: Frying banana chips in Sidoharum Village, Sempor, Kebumen Regency Method: The method carried out in this study used a descriptive case study method. Results: Nursing problems that arise in all three patients are a risk of loneliness. The intervention that will be carried out is Occupational Therapy for making banana chips. From the results of the implementation, it was found that out of the three clients seemed enthusiastic in taking occupational therapy and were able to reduce loneliness in the elderly. Recommendation: It is expected that the village will provide craft services or training for the elderly to reduce loneliness in the elderly.
