Abstract

Background: Appendicitis is the most common cause of acute inflammation in the right lower quadrant of the abdominal cavity, as well as the most common cause for emergency abdominal surgery. Surgery can cause a variety of complaints and symptoms such as pain, this pain can hamper the mobilization of patients. Objective: Describe the results of the analysis of nursing care of the needs activity mobilizeto patient post appendictomy in the Khatijah room PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Wonosobo Methods: The design of study case uses descriptive research methods to evaluate the quality of service cases meeting the needs of mobilization in appendicitis patients Results: Based on the assessment, it is known that patients with post operative appendectomy often lie in bed because the patient still has a fear of moving. In addition, the lack of understanding of patients and families about mobilization also makes patients reluctant to make post-operative movements. Recommendation: Researchers recommended the application of mobility-fulfilling interventions in post-appendectomy patients should often practice movement so as to reduce pther problems that arise
