Abstract
Background :The preeclampsia pregnant mother needed plan to overcoming for anxiety in facing labor. The nurses play a role in overcoming anxiety through a nonpharmacological approach, namely color therapy. Color therapy is a therapy that provides an element of relaxation that can reduce anxiety in individuals. Objective : analyzing nursing care for severely pre eclampsia pregnant women with anxiety problems through green color therapy methods in the Flamboyant Ward of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo General Hospital of Purwokerto. Method : This analysis of nursing care uses a descriptive method in the form of case studies in three patients with nursing actions carried out for 3 days. Subjects are preeclampsia pregnant women with severe anxiety problems. The instrument of this case study uses the HARS scale anxiety observation sheet. Result : the nursing problem that arises is anxiety. Interventions and implementations include anxiety studies, discussions about anxiety, teach relaxation distraction techniques with green color therapy. The results of nursing evaluations from all three clients with severe preeclampsia showed that anxiety nursing problems were resolved. On P1 from score 26 (severe anxiety) to score 12 (no anxiety), P2 from score 28 (severe anxiety) to score 12 (no anxiety), P3 from score 30 (severe anxiety) to score 15 (mild anxiety) . The decrease in anxiety level occurred in all three clients, P1 was 25%, P2 was 28.5% and P3 was 26.8%. Evaluate the ability of the three clients to control anxiety after being given green color therapy, averaging 94.4%. Green color therapy is very effective in reducing anxiety in severe preeclampsia clients. Recommendation : green color theraphy needs to be applied to patients with anxiety problem of preeclampsia pregnant mother.
