Abstract
Background: anxiety is the impact of hospitalization experienced by children due to fear of new people, separation, loss, bodily injury experienced and rejecting invasive actions. The impact of this can disturb the developmentand the healing process of the children. Play therapy can be applied todeceasechildren’s anxiety. objective: to analyze nursing care in patients with febrile seizures with anxiety in the aster room Hospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Method: This case study uses descriptive research design that is carried out on a set of objects that aims to see a picture of phenomena that occur within a particular population (Notoatmodjo, 2010). In this case study research examines nursing care in patients with febrile seizures with anxiety in the aster room at the RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Result: the innovation results that giving play therapy is coloring the image in the Aster room of the RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto, that the level of anxiety decreases, from the level of severe anxiety to being moderate. Results of nursing care: from the results of case studies carried out for coloring play therapy the effect of reducing the level of anxiety in children due to hospitalization. Recommendation: it is expected that the next researcher can take therapeutic nursing actions to play coloring and provide nursing innovations about the factors that reduce anxiety
