Abstract
Background: In Indonesia HIV/AIDS is like an iceberg phenomenon which is only scemed to peak but many cases were not found. In 2018, in Indonesia, the cases with HIV/AIDS were 46.469 and 10.190. In 2018, HIV cases in Central Java were 5.400 AIDS cases were 1941. HIV/AIDS was found in 1.981, many societies responded that rejection, discrimination, and stigma. One factor of the stigma was perception. In a study of teenager showed that teens had 1.5 times of risk stigmatizing in people with HIV tha adults. The increasing perception and stigma affected their attitudes and treatment used. Objective, Determining of the relations between teenager perceptions and people stigma by HIV/AIDS (ODHA) in Muhammadiyah senior high school of Gombong Method, This study used a quantitative metdod with a cross-sectional survey approach. samples were taken by inclusion and exclusion creteria, which are 79 samples with a sample population of class X, XI,XII. Result, This study used Kendalls Tau formula and showed the value of P value= 0.001(P<0.05), is showed that there was a real relation between the variables teenager perception and stigma of HIV/AIDS (ODHA). Conclusion, There was a real relation between teenager perceptions and stigma of people with HIV/AIDS (ODHA). Recommendation, For the next researchers needs to study on the relationship of knowledge to stigmatize people with HIV/AIDS (ODHA) to expand research areas such as the environment of the community and using more samples so the results will be better.
