Abstract
Background, Postpartum blues is a psychological disorder experienced by mother in the first week after delivery by marked a feeling of unstable, slow to anger, a sleep disorder, really need to other helps and easly discouraged. Objective, Finding out of relation of the charactericts in mother who have just given birth with an occurrence postpartum blues at the PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital. Methodology, This study used the analytic technique with purposive sampling the sample collection. The number of samples were taken as much as 93 respondents. In the research used quisioner with 15 questions based on signs and symptoms of postpartum blues. Results, The outcome of this research showing most mother parturitio, experienced postpartum blues middle of 57 (61,3%), based on their age mother the research result show dominant in the category of the risk of low 59 (63,4%), based on the level of education express its strongest dominant in the education the category of medium sized 51 (54,8%) based on the parity of even show the majority of women parturition the propotion who experienced postpartum blues is among the more conservative 58 (60,2%) and based on the type of childbirth the majority of women experienced postpartum blues with childbirth sc 60 (64,5%). Conclusion, There is relationship between mother parturition included, age, education and work that affects the psychological mother after childbirth. Recommadation, For futher researcher to provide to consul pre-partum. And the other researcher to conduct research with the same variable with different methods, so that later the hoped may prove.
