Abstract
Background: Early breasfeeding initiation can provide warmth for the baby, because newborns will experience hypotermia,and by the early breasfeeding initiation process a contact ckin will occur where the mothers skin is thermoregulatory. The smooth production of breast milk is supported by several factors, one of them with implementation of early breasfeeding initiation. Objective: To evaluate the implementation of early breasfeeding initiation in the annisa at the PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital in year 2019. Method: This research uses a deskriptif method. This population in this study were all birth attendants with a total sampling of 28 respondent. Techniques for collecting data by direct observation and using an observation instrumen with standart operational prosedure. Research Result: From the results of research conducted on 28 respondents. 15midwives (53,6%) did not initiate early breasfeeding, while nurses who initate early breasfeeding according to standart operational prosedur as many as 8 people (28,6%) Conclusion: Implementation of early breasfeeding initiation Recommendation: For next research to examine the factors of the implementation 0f early breasfeeding initiation.
