Abstract
Background: Mobilization is the need for someone to move freely, easily and regularly in order to fulfill their needs. Purpose: Considering nursing care of non-hemorrhagic stroke patients in complying mobilization needs. Method: The research method in this nursing care is a descriptive analysis by case study approach. Data is obtained through observation, interviews, physical examination and documentation studies. Subjects were 2 patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke who experience the physical mobilization obstacle. Results: Nursing problem that arise is physical mobility obstacle that associated whit a decrease in muscle strength. The intervention and implementation that has been carried out for 3x24 hours by examine the muscle strength periodically and train patients to do the joint muscle Range Of Motion (ROM) exercises regularly. After carried out the nursing care for 3 days there is muscle strength increment of both patients. Recommendation: Perform the Range of Motion (ROM) exercises as early as possible to prevent joint contractures.
