Abstract
Background: invasive prosedure causes pain. Pain is a common experience that occurs in children, both because there is actual tissue demage or not. The pain felt by each child varies due to various reasons, the childs reaction to the infusion procedure is crying and refusing to take action. Relaxtion effects are obtained when therapy is slow deep brething the child blows the prpellerso that it can reduce pain during infusion. Pupose: This case study describes nursing care with the introduction of slow deep breathing therapy by playing propellers in proschoolers to reduce pain during infusion. Method: The paper uses an analytical descriptive method of case studies, the subjects were 2 preschool children aged 3-6 year who were given the therapy of slow deep breathing by playing propellers which were is done for 3 days with 2 respondents. Pain level measurement instrument using facial pain scale. Result:After performing slow deep breathing therapy by playing a propeller performed for 3 day with a fequency of 1 tiime aday for 15 minutes the results of a decrease in pain scale from to pain scale 3 so that the pain scale decrease 3 scores. Recommendation: For further reseach using slow deep brathing therapy in other invasive procedures beside infusion and observatio assessement can involve parents and other health works as a comparison.
