Abstract
Background: the oxygenation is basic human need used for the survival of the cell metabolism of the body sustaining life and activity as an organ or cells. WHO (2013) showed that there are 17.3 billion people in the world die of cardiovascular disease and estimated to reach 23.3 billion people who died in 2020. Objective: to describe nursing care of fulfilling oxygenation need to Mrs. S in Inayah Ward, PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Gombong. Nursing problem: the main nursing diagnosis was ineffective breathing pattern related to hiperventilation. Intervention and implementation were giving semi-Fowler position, giving oxygen, auscultating of breath sounds, monitoring the respirator status y and O2. Evaluation: The evaluation conducted on the third day showed less breathlessness, respiration 34 tpm. The author concluded that the nursing problem, ineffective breathing pattern has not been resolved.
