Abstract
Background: Meeting the needs of fluid and electrolyte clients with Chronic Kidney Disease because of the problem of excess fluid volume. The body fluid consists of water and electrolytes. Electrolytes are compounds in solution which dissociate into positively charged particles and negatively. Organ regulator of fluid and electrolyte balance is the main kidney. The general objective: Explain overview nursing care given to the fulfillment Ny.S disorders of fluid and electrolytes in patients with chronic renal failure . In the discussion of nursing problems that arise excess fluid volume associated with impaired regulation mechanism, deficiency of knowledge related to a lack of understanding of the sources of information . Intervention and implementation has been done in the form of a liquid balance calculate, monitor vital signs, restrict fluid intake, diuretics collaboration, education, health. In the evaluation conducted over three days do restrict fluid intake and calculate the balance of fluids to maintain fluid balance in the body, the client says its feet swelling has begun to diminish. Conclusions based on the results of the analysis showed that restricting fluid intake and calculate the fluid balance is quite helpful for maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance in the body .
