Abstract

Background: Pharmacy is a pharmaceutical service facility where pharmacist practices pharmacy. Drug storage is an activity to store or maintain by placing the received medicine in a place considered safe and maintaining the quality of the drug. According to Minister of health regulations number 73 of 2016 about t pharmacy service standard at drug store that the drug must be stored in the original factory container, in the case of an exception or emergency where the contents transferred to another container, it must be prevented from occurring and clear information must be written on the new container, the container at least contains the name of the drug and the date, all drugs or drug ingredients are stored in suitable conditions so that their safety and stability are guaranteed, the drug storage area is not used to store materials that can cause contamination, storage system by observing the dosage form and therapy class, and arranged alphabetically; drug dispensing uses the FEFO (First Expired First Out) and FIFO (First In First Out) systems. Based on these regulations, it is necessary to evaluate the store in the district of Mirit Objective: Evaluate the drug storage system at the Mirit District drug store is appropriate or not, based on Minister of health regulations number 73 of 2016 and regulation Dirjen. Method: this research is an observational research which is descriptive in nature by using self ssesment. To find out the drug storage system at the drug store in the district of Mirit. Result: There are two pharmacies in Mirit District, namely Pharmacy H and Pharmacy M. pharmacy H obtained results (79,41%) is sufficient in accordance with the standard by category (61%-80%) already said good. Pharmacy M obtained results (88,23%) is in accordance with the standard by category (81%-100%) already said very good. Conclusion: Both pharmacies in Mirit District have met the storage standards according to the Minister of health regulations by category. Recommendation: Further research can add the number of pharmacies in Kebumen Regency and analyze storage factor.
