Abstract

Background, There are 4 methods of drug procurement, namely open tender, limited tender, negotiation and direct purchase. In ensuring the availability of drugs listed in the National Formulary (Fornas) for the JKN program, the government holds an open tender and the results are listed in the electronic catalog. PKU Muhammadiyah Petanahan Hospital uses two procurement methods, namely the procurement of e-catalog drugs for Fornas drugs and direct procurement both in negotiations for non-Fornas drugs. The purpose of the study, to determine the level of drug availability held by electronic catalogs and procurement at PKU Muhammadiyah Petanahan Hospital and to determine the effect of drug procurement methods on the level of drug availability at PKU Muhammadiyah Petanahan Hospital. Methode, this research method is observational with cross sectional descriptive design using retrospective data. The result of the study, shows the level of availability of drugs by the e-catalog method of 79 types of excess drugs and temporarily by the direct procurement method of 149 types of excess drugs. The difference in the level of availability between the two methods has a value of P = 0.141 greater than 0.005 which proves the procurement is not significant. In conclusion, there is no significant effect between the method of procurement of e-catalog drugs and direct purchases with the status of drug availability. Recommendations, for further research it is necessary to evaluate the availability of drugs with other procurement methods or in other hospitals.
