Abstract

Background: drug management in hospitals including planning, procurement, acceptance, distribution, distribution, management, and reporting. An effective procurement process seeks to eradicate the right drug in the right quantity, at a reasonable price, and with good quality standards. Evaluation of drug planning and procurement using ABC analysis at Pharmacy Installation of Prembun hospital of can make it easier to control drug management based on the highest investment value, lowest value. Purpose: This study aims to determine the process of planning and drug procurement, knowing the results of ABC analysis of antibiotic drugs and knowing which antibiotic drugs are widely used. Methods: The study was an observational, descriptive study with data based on antibiotic drug procurement, knowing the result of ABC analysis of antibiotic drug and knowing which antibiotic drugs are widely used. Results: Method planning at Pharmacy Installation of Prembun hospital by method Moriditas. The result of planning using ABC analysis of antibiotic showed drugs that 4 items of antibiotics were included in group A (15%) at a cost of Rp. 57,136,534, - (70%). While in group B there are 5 items (15%) at a cost of Rp. 18,026,787, - (20%) and in groups of 9 items (70%) at a cost of Rp. 8,524,528, -. number 6 drugs included in the fast moving group 2 items of which are in group A, 1 item of which is in group B, and 2 items in group C. Suggestion: For further research, can research Evaluation of drug planning and procurement using ABC and VEN analysis at Pharmacy Installation of Prembun hospital.
