Abstract

Background, the minimum standard of hospital services as stipulated in Permenkes No. 129 of 2008, that hospitals in conducting pharmaceutical services must have a minimum indicator standard. Where the patient satisfaction indicator is> 80%. Patients are said to be satisfied when reaching the specified indicator limits. Another indicator to measure the quality of pharmaceutical services is the level of patient or consumer satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of patient satisfaction and to know any factors which can affect patient satisfaction with pharmaceutical services. The research method, the method of this study is to use observational descriptive cross sectional approach. The results of the study, showed that of the 73 respondents who made the study sample of the dimensions measured, the majority of patients were satisfied. The average number of respondents who were satisfied with the dimensions of infrastructure was 95.8%, on the IEC dimension was 88.3%, on the dimension of speed in service was 91.7% and on the dimension of staff friendliness was 100%. This is in accordance with the minimum standard of hospital services as stipulated in Permenkes No. 129 of 2008, namely that the standard of customer satisfaction is> 80%. The factors that influence the level of patient satisfaction for the four dimensions are gender (p <0.05), age (p> 0.05), occupation (p> 0.05) after education (p <0.05) . In conclusion, at Wijayakusuma General Hospital Kebumen, the staff’s friendliness dimension has a level highest satisfaction, and IEC dimensions has the lowest level of satisfaction. The factors are significantly affect patient satisfaction whith pharmaceutical services are gender and education level. Recommendations, further analysis needs to be done to find out other factors that can affect patient satisfaction.
