Abstract
Background : The evaluation of the quality of drug storage is very important because it guarantees the quality of drugs, the level of drug availability and guarantees drug safety. The quality of drug storage is influenced by the suitability of the goods with the stock card, the percentage of expired drugs, the percentage of dead stock, the final stock value of the warehouse, etc. Poor quality of drug storage can result in excess drugs, unavailability of drugs, expired drugs, unused drugs for 3 months or more so that it can result in losses to the hospital budget and harm patients. Dr. Soedirman Hospital Kebumen is one of the government hospitals that pays attention to the quality of drug storage so it is necessary to evaluate the quality of drug storage in pharmaceutical warehouses. The research objective : To determine the quality of drug storage in the pharmacy warehouse Dr. Soedirman Hospital Kebumen. Research method : quantitative descriptive, cross sectional, use of retrosoective data. The results of the study : research on the evaluation of the quality of drug storage in the pharmacy warehouse of Dr. Soedirman Hospital Kebumen obtained the results of a check list related to warehouse requirements, drug storage arrangements, room layout, and warehouse management systems were good; percentage of dead stock 2,11%; TOR (Turn Over Ratio) 12,85 times; percentage of drug expired 0.35%, the level of drug availability 13.46 months; warehouse ending stock 185 empty stock 28 excess stock. Conclusion : the quality of drug storage in the pharmacy warehouse Dr. Soedirman Hospital Kebumen is already good in terms of warehouse requirements, drug storage arrangements, spatial planning, percentage of expired drugs, warehouse management systems, drug availability levels but the percentage of dead stock, TOR (Turn Over Ratio), and warehouse final stock results slightly deviate from what is determined only. alone is not very significant so it is still said to be good. Recommendation : future studies can examine the quality of storage in outpatient and inpatient pharmacy installations.
