Abstract
Background: The second stage of delivery process which lasts in a long time will cause dehydration, infection, fatigue, asphyxia and intra uterin fetal death (IUFD). Abnormality of the power factor can be caused by the inertia (improper phase his), incoordinate (irregular his, no coordination and synchronization between the contraction of the parts) and tetanic (too strong his and too often his so that there is no uterus relaxation). These may cause a long delivery (prolonged labor). If it is not treated immediately, it will cause fetal distress, and the uterus rupture. What the pregnancy gymnastics. Objective: Giving midwifery care to Mrs. E, 20 year-old pregnant mother with G1P0A0 by applying pregnancy gymnastics for the effectiveness of the second stage delivery process in private midwifery clinic of Wiji Prihanti, S.ST Sruweng. Methods: This scientific paper is descriptive qualitive with the type of case study. The data collection was done by collecting primary data (interviews and observation) and secondary data (literature study and documentation). Result: After doing pregnancy gymnastics (9 times) during the third trimester, the delivery process of Mrs. E lasted in a quite shot time (35 minutes). Conclusion: Pregnancy gymnastics can speed up the second stage delivery process.
