Abstract

Background: Typhoid fever is a acute systhemic infectious diseases that attack gastrointestinal especially at small intestine which due to Salmonella typhi bacteria. One of the disease management is distribution antibiotic the use of need in the evaluation of to guarantee the quality and the effectiveness of therapy typhoid disease, include precise indication, patient, drug and dosage (4 T). The Purpose of the research : To evaluating the use of antibiotic typhoid fever patient in Puskesmas Petanahan period of January-June 2019. Method : non eksperimental research with sampel interpretation according to retrospektif, sampel interpretation technique is total sampling and descriptive analyzed. Result : In this study obtained 66 case of typhoid fever. The resulting data compared with Typhoid fever handling Procedure Operational Standard in Puskesmas Petanahan 2018 and Kemenkes 2006. Antibiotica used in Instalation Care Hospitalization in Puskesmas Petanahan period January-june 2019 is chloramphenicol (40,90%), tiamfenikol (4,54%), cotrimoxazole (4,54%), ceftriaxone (18,18%), cefadroxil (4,54%), cefixim (24,24%) dan ciprofloxacin (3,03%). Result of evaluation be aware that 100% indication precise, 100% patient precise, 95,45% drug precise and 78,78% dosage precise. Conclusion : Antibiotica Chloramphenicol as be first line antibiotica to handle typhoid fever patient in Petanahan clinic period January-june 2019 Suggestion: Research with concomitant disease.
