Abstract

Background: According to WHO, cancer is a disease that causes quite a lot of death worldwide. Ovarian cancer is ranked second as a cause of death in women. Nausea is a subjective phenomenon about discomfort in the back of the throat or stomach which can cause vomiting. Ginger aromatherapy can be an option to improve patient comfort in dealing with the side effects of chemotherapy. Objective: Determining the effect of ginger aromatherapy on post-chemotherapy ovarian cancer patients with nausea nursing problems Method: This study was an analysis of 3 patients with managed ovarian cancer with nausea nursing problems Result: Analysis of nursing problems taken by the author that is nausea. Analysis of the nursing care of the three patients under management by giving ginger aromatherapy. From this analysis, the problem of nursing nausea was reduced. Recommendation: It is hoped that further researchers can provide comprehensive nursing care, applying the results of nursing research to patients with nausea problems
