Abstract

Background disease that often attacks children is typoid, children can fall ill and need hospitalization, hospital environment is the cause of anxiety in children even though children are sick the need to play is still there. The general objective of providing nursing care with play therapy is to color the images of transportation (trucks and cars) in typhoid pediatric patients with anxiety nursing problems associated with hospitalization in the UPTD Kroya Health Center I. The results of nursing care that arise are nursing concerns related to environmental changes (hospitalization) , the intervention gives a warm welcome in the new environment, gives choices to be able to carry out activities, implementation by providing play therapy coloring pictures of transportation (trucks and cars), evaluation with therapeutic play transportation (trucks and cars) anxiety for children is reduced and no longer anxious . Recommendations with innovative play therapy were obtained from the three patients under management of An. L Anxiety becomes mild, An. B and An, G anxiety becomes normal
