Abstract
Background Bronchopneumonia is an inflammation that occurs in lung tissue through direct transmission through the respiratory tract or through the hematogenous to the bronchi. Physiotherapy is the first choice of therapy for children with bronchemonia, in addition to nursing clapping in physiotherapy which aims to overcome the nursing diagnosis of airway clearance. Objective Explain nursing care about the clapping method for chest physiotherapy with bronchopneumonia problems in the Aster Room at RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Method This Scientific Work uses descriptive case study design, how to retrieve data by evaluating the results of clapping actions performed. Results of nursing care Evaluation results from all three patients, after all patients performed clapping or chest physiotherapy had an average decrease in respiratory frequency 3x / minute, and in additional breath sounds there was no additional breath sounds on the third day, and on cough with phlegm the average patient was not have a cough with phlegm on the third day. Recommendation It is expected that the next researcher can carry out nursing clapping actions in bronchophone patients and provide chest physiotherapy nursing innovations with vibration methods.
