Abstract
Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever or DHF is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus, with clinical manifestations of fever. Muscle I joint pain, which is accompanied by leucopenia, thrombocytopenia, lymphadenopathy and hemorrhagic. Adequate fluid rehydration helps prevent complications and accelerate healing. Objective: To explain nursing care given to clients with a fluid volume deficit accompanied by a decrease in trornbosite using fluid rehydration therapy from angkak juice. Method: This case study uses a descriptive case study design. ln this case study explained about the application of angkak juice therapy in patients with dengue hemorrhagic fever in increasing trombosite with nursing problems fluid volume deficits. Results of the Case Study: Giving angkak juice therapy has an effect on increasing trombosite. Conclusion: Angkak juice therapy helps prevent complications from DHF and accelerates the healing process and improves trombosite production. Recommendation: Non-pharmacological therapy that has been proven to be safe and its efficacy needs to be given in line with medical therapy in providing services in hospitals to reduce the negative effects of chemicals. Angkak can he applied as a non-pharmacological therapy in DHF.
