Abstract

Background: Violent behaviour is a condition that expresses feelings of anger, fear or powerlessness in everyday situations. Cognitive symptoms of violent behavior such as the presence of facial expressions appear to be confused, supressing of mind, unable to solve problems on their own with the appraisal bias. One of violent behavior controled by using individual therapy. Objectives: Provide an overview of nursing care for patients at risk of violent behavior by providing individual therapy. Method: The writing method of this scientific work uses a case study with the format of assessment, signs and symptoms, SOP of action, schedule of activities and evaluation of the client's abilities. Results: After taking nursing care action to recognize violent behavior during 4 days of meeting, client 1 had a decreased in signs and symptoms by 3 and achievement evaluation increased by 85.71% while client 2 had a decrease in signs and symptoms by 3 and evaluation increased by 85.71 %. Recommendations: Individual therapy is therapy that can be used for clients at risk of violent behavior and can is be applied both in hospitals and in the communites.
