Abstract

Background: BPH (Benigna Prostate Hyperplasia) is a disease where happened augmentation of the glands prostate due to the hyperplasia benigna of cells that occurs in a male was further, the abnormality is determined by the age of 40 years and frequency more increased in accordance with the addition of age, so at the age of above 80 years gues 80% of men who suffered abnormality. Medical on the patient benigna prostate hyperplasia can be done by the surgery TURP and can cause pain. For that nurse need to provide information to patients and their families about a pharmacology a therapy to help the patient in relieving pain one of them with therapy relaxation Benson. Objective: This study describes orphanage nursing with the main problem an acute pain in the patient post-surgery benigna prostate hyperplasia Method: This study is a case study by doing orphanage nursing in patients with the problem of nursing interruption of safety and comfort, the pain in the patient post-surgery benigna prostate hyperplasia for 3x24 hours Result: After done techniques relaxation Benson for three days of the decline in pain scale on both patients. The therapy effective shows that the therapy relaxation Benson can be used as a therapy a pharmacology a nurse to address the acute pain. Recommendation: To further researchers in order to do a relaxation Benson to reduce pain in the patient post-surgery benigna prostate hyperplasia.
