Abstract

Background: The problem that occurs in the post partum period is the mother's failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding. Actions that can affect the production of breast milk are the application of green bean extract. Post partum mothers who gave the process of giving green bean prosukai its milk smoothly reached 80%, while those who did not do green bean extract produced 20% milk. Objective: To describe Nursing Care by intervening in the application of green bean extract aimed at increasing milk production in spontaneous post partum mothers. Method: This scientific paper uses descriptive analytic method with a case study approach. Data obtained from interviews, observations, and document nursing care. Results: After nursing was performed by applying green bean extract the patient experienced an increase in breast milk production so that the baby could breastfeed properly. Recommendation: Giving the mung bean extract is highly recommended for spontaneous post partum mothers who experience breastmilk issues
